New and Exciting this week?

WOW! What a week. Back to working on something other than weddings. Not a complaint, just looking forward to doing some different stuff too.
Les Fourberies de Moliere with Les Fous de TO, is really coming together. As a newcomer in the world of theatre, I love it!!! These people are so much fun. I look forward to every rehearsal. We will be performing on Sept 19, 20,21 at the Glendon Theatre. Info to follow.
This week is our El Mocambo debut. Working the set list was a little challenging. I want to feature everyone yet stay original to what we enjoy doing. Should be a great evening! (for a good cause)

Also... Le METROPOLITAIN has mentioned Melanie E. for two consecutive weeks. I am attaching them to this BLOG. Why not! Ok..it's too big. How about an entry for each? Check it out!

Now I am looking for new titles of songs that we don't have in our repertoire yet...

Did I mention that it was my birthday week? Bizarre week, yet fabulous outcome.

"I call him St. Francis of Assisi because he used to bring in all the strays in the neighbourhood," says the Oshawa musician. Her father died in April, roughly four months after the fire at the Humane Society of Durham Region that destroyed the Oshawa building and killed more than 100 animals there. Hartshorn-Walton says the tragedy "really affected him" and she shares both her father's love of animals and his distress at what happened that day.
